Oral Bioaccessibility of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Fly Ash Derived from Incineration of Petroleum Products and Waste Motor Tyres

Aim: The aim of this study is to generate and investigate oral bioaccessibility based on the health risk polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAHs) in fly ash from waste tyres petroleum products Rivers State, Nigeria.
 Study Design: Crude oil, crude oil asphalt, artisanal diesel, refined engine samples were collected incinerated. different analyzed with GC-MS.
 Place Duration Study: State a state that rich Niger Delta area Nigeria. has been experiencing release soot into environment for more than five (5) years now. This noticeable all residents Port Harcourt its covering both indoor outdoor objects such as clothes, cars, houses, floors, soil, water body, etc. incinerated six (6) weeks (22nd June 7th August 2021).
 Methodology: after combustion daily. total bioaccessible PAH concentrations determined using GC-MS. PAHs was evaluated physiologically-based extraction test method (PBET) determine 16 priority US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) samples. results obtained used assessment.
 Results: A wider range observed 49.71 926.62 mg/kg. significantly higher molecular weight (with benzene 4-5-6 rings) lower (benzene 2-3 rings). Naphthalene, acenaphthylene, acenaphthene, fluorene ring structures had highest gastric gastrointestinal phases studied. Flourene maximum percentage 91.30 % phase locally diesel whilst acenaphthene 98.75% asphalt ash.
 Conclusion: Data indicated potential point source toxic hydrocarbons significant levels humans.
